Four individuals sustained injuries, with two in critical condition, following a serious two-vehicle collision in Markham, Ontario. The incident took place at the intersection of Major Mackenzie Drive and McCowan Road on Friday evening, just before 5 p.m.
According to the York Region Police, the crash involved two vehicles and resulted in significant injuries to the occupants. A 42-year-old male driver from one of the vehicles was transported to a trauma center, where he is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries. In addition to him, a young woman in the same vehicle also suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision.
The second vehicle involved in the crash had a young male occupant who was similarly taken to a trauma center with injuries deemed life-threatening. The driver of this second vehicle, a woman, fortunately, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
