A small plane crashed in a field at Monarch Park High School in Toronto on the evening of September 14, 2025. According to Toronto Fire services, emergency responders were dispatched to the site near Felstead and Greenwood Avenues shortly after 8 p.m. The incident occurred close to the soccer field and the parking lot adjacent to the grandstand.

The aircraft had three occupants on board, all reportedly in their mid-30s to 40s. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, and all individuals managed to exit the plane safely. One witness, Tavid Sydney-Cariglia, was playing soccer at the nearby St. Patrick’s Field when he observed the plane flying unusually low above them. He recounted, “It was coming from the west side of the city to the east. And it was really low. And then all of a sudden we heard a big loud crash.” Following the sound, the witness and others rushed to the scene, where they saw the crashed plane and its occupants safely outside.
