Along with general increased patrols, the police will establish rotating command posts at several key locations, including synagogues, Baycrest Hospital, the Ledbury Jewish Centre, and specific intersections along Bathurst Street, particularly north of the city center.
In addition to Toronto's measures, York Regional Police have also committed to increasing patrols during Passover. They plan to set up command posts at two Jewish community centers and a Thornhill mall.
