Police in Peel Region are actively searching for a man connected to an incident involving an unwanted physical interaction with a child in Brampton. The event unfolded on September 23, 2023, when the young victim was walking in the area of Flamingo Crescent and Forsythia Road shortly before 4 p.m.

A brief physical interaction occurred, but fortunately, the child managed to escape the situation unharmed and left the area without sustaining any physical injuries. The suspect is described as a South Asian male, estimated to be between 25 to 30 years old. He stands approximately six feet tall and has a slim build. Witnesses noted that he has straight, medium-length black hair that touches his ears. At the time of the encounter, he was wearing a black cloth face mask that covered the lower half of his face, a white t-shirt, and long brown pants. After the interaction, he was seen walking eastbound on Forsythia Road towards Folkstone Crescent.
