A 38-year-old man from Oshawa has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident of intimate partner violence, according to the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS). The case involves serious allegations stemming from a stabbing that occurred on Saturday morning.
Authorities reported that at approximately 11:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Oxford Street and Wentworth Street West in response to reports of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, they found a 21-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. Medical responders quickly transported her to a Toronto-area trauma center for treatment, where she is currently in stable condition.
