Drake has expressed his displeasure towards Jagmeet Singh, the former leader of the NDP (New Democratic Party), following Singh's attendance at a Kendrick Lamar concert in Toronto last week. This incident has taken place against the backdrop of an ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

On Sunday, Drake took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a message he sent to Singh, referring to him as a "goof." This remark came after photos of Singh at Lamar's concert, held at the Rogers Centre, started circulating on social media. The atmosphere at the concert was electrifying, with Kendrick performing hits from his latest album "GNX" such as "Squabble Up" and "TV Off," as well as classic tracks like "Humble" and "All the Stars," which featured his tour mate SZA.

Singh clarified on social media that his attendance was primarily to see SZA, not Kendrick. In his post, he reflected on his deep ties to Toronto, stating, "I was born in this city. I love this city. But real talk, I get it. I shouldn’t have gone at all." He acknowledged Drake's significance to the city of Toronto and Canadian music, asserting, "For me, it’ll always be Drake over Kendrick."

Drake and Kendrick Lamar's rivalry is highly publicized, having escalated into a legal battle. Drake is currently suing Universal Music Group, claiming defamation due to the release and promotion of the song "Not Like Us." The Canadian rapper alleges that the lyrics of the song wrongfully accuse him of being a pedophile, putting his safety at risk and damaging his reputation; however, none of these claims have been proven in court.

This feud reflects deeper tensions within the hip-hop community and highlights how artists navigate personal and professional relationships in the public eye. Singh, caught in the crossfire of this beef, has publicly attempted to reconcile by expressing his admiration for Drake, showcasing the complexities of loyalty in a landscape where public perception can significantly impact careers.
