The Toronto Police Service is actively seeking assistance in locating a man accused of threatening a TTC bus driver with a knife during a bus ride incident. Authorities report that this alarming event occurred in May 2025 in North York, specifically near the intersection of Jane Street and Yewtree Boulevard.

According to the police account, the suspect initially boarded the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus without paying the required fare. Upon being confronted by the driver regarding the fare evasion, the suspect eventually complied and paid the fare. After this exchange, he took a seat towards the back of the bus.

As the suspect prepared to exit the bus, he approached the driver. It was at this moment that he brandished a knife, making threats of bodily harm towards the driver. Following this confrontation, the suspect exited the bus without causing any further disturbance and was last seen heading eastbound along Yewtree Boulevard.

In their ongoing investigation, Toronto Police have provided a description of the suspect. He is estimated to be between 30 to 40 years of age and has distinctive shoulder-length dreadlocks. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt, grey cargo sweatpants, and white sneakers.
