The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. in the vicinity of Mable Smith Way and Interchange Way, located southwest of Jane Street and Highway 7. According to police reports, two individuals were walking together in the parking lot when they were approached from behind by an unknown man. This individual allegedly grabbed one of the two pedestrians and inflicted injuries using a sharp object.

Following the assault, the victim was promptly transported to a hospital for medical attention, where they received treatment for what were described as minor injuries.
