On Sunday afternoon, a collision involving three vehicles in Brampton resulted in injuries to two individuals. The Peel police received reports of the crash in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Dusk Drive at approximately 3:50 p.m. The incident was serious enough that one of the vehicles flipped over, adding to the urgency of the police response.
Emergency responders assessed the situation and transported one woman to a local trauma center due to serious injuries. Fortunately, police later provided an update indicating that her injuries were not life-threatening; however, there is still ambiguity regarding whether she was a driver or a passenger in the vehicle. Additionally, a man, who is believed to be the driver of another car involved in the crash, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
Following the accident, traffic was significantly impacted in the area. Eastbound Dusk Drive experienced closures at Chinguacousy Road, while southbound Chinguacousy Road was closed at Bonnie Braes Drive. However, after the situation was stabilized and the vehicles were cleared from the road, all affected routes have since reopened to traffic.
