Three men from Toronto have been apprehended following an investigation into internet luring, which was conducted by the Toronto police’s Child Sexual Exploitation Unit. These arrests were made after allegations surfaced that the individuals were engaged in inappropriate communications on a social media platform with the intent to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
The investigation revealed that the three men communicated with each other and coordinated plans to meet a child, with the aim of engaging in sexual activities. Upon their anticipated meeting, the suspects were arrested by law enforcement authorities. Among those arrested is Zachary Plamondon, a 37-year-old resident of Toronto. He faces serious charges that include luring a person under the age of 18, as well as two counts of luring a person under the age of 16. Additionally, two other individuals were implicated in this disturbing case. Nicholas Dewkinandan, aged 42, and Juhyung Lee, who is 20 years old, are also from Toronto and share similar charges. Both have been charged with making sexually explicit material available to a person under the age of 16, along with two counts of luring a person under 16. Their court appearances are scheduled for June 23 and June 24, respectively.
