Toronto Police have taken significant action against illegal drug operations by arresting three suspects involved in the distribution of various narcotics, including cocaine, fentanyl, and crystal methamphetamine. The arrests were part of an extensive investigation that spanned several months, highlighting the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking in the region.
The investigation commenced in September 2025, focusing on a trio suspected of selling these harmful substances throughout Toronto and the Durham Region. Police executed a series of coordinated search warrants that ultimately led to the drug bust. On November 24, the authorities carried out four search warrants in Toronto, alongside one in Durham, targeting the suspects and their operations.
In conjunction with the search warrants for the locations, police also executed three additional search warrants on vehicles believed to be associated with the suspects. This comprehensive approach allowed investigators to gather more evidence and conduct thorough examinations of the vehicles involved in the drug trade.
As a result of these operations, law enforcement seized a substantial quantity of illicit drugs, which included 1,330 grams of cocaine, 885 grams of fentanyl, and 85 grams of methamphetamine. Additionally, police recovered 30 grams of hydromorphone pills, 20 grams of crack cocaine, and more than $10,000 in Canadian cash, further underscoring the scale of the drug trafficking activities undertaken by the suspects.
The three individuals arrested in connection to this case are Alaa Nabil Deen Faraj, 29, from Ajax; Syed Hassaan Alam, 24, from Toronto; and Hamzah Master, 23, also from Toronto. Each of these suspects faces a range of charges related to drug trafficking and possession, reflecting the serious nature of their alleged crimes.
