A 31-year-old man, John Edward Kikiantonis, is currently facing multiple charges in relation to a sexual assault investigation being conducted by the Toronto police. The case revolves around serious allegations that stem from an incident which investigators believe occurred in March.

According to the investigators, Kikiantonis contacted the alleged victim through an online advertisement. Following this initial communication, the victim traveled to the suspect's residence where an exchange of money for sexual services was made. However, the situation took a troubling turn when the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim, engaging in sexual assault while also preventing her from escaping the situation.

During the ordeal, the victim was ultimately able to escape from the premises; however, it is reported that Kikiantonis stole her belongings, compounding the gravity of the alleged offenses. The pattern of conduct described by the victim has led to the man's identification as a potential threat, prompting investigators to caution that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.

Authorities executed an arrest on April 2, 2023, at which point Kikiantonis was charged with several serious offenses. The charges he faces include sexual assault with choking, sexual assault causing bodily harm, robbery with violence, forcible confinement, and two counts of obtaining sexual services from a person under 18 years old. Furthermore, he is also facing two counts related to the trafficking of a controlled substance classified under Schedule I.

Post-arrest, Kikiantonis was scheduled to appear in court on the same day, April 2. As part of the investigation process, the police have released his photograph, emphasizing their belief that there may be more victims of similar offenses. They aim to encourage anyone who has experienced similar situations to come forward and report their cases to law enforcement.

It is important to note that none of the allegations against Kikiantonis have been proven in a court of law, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities gather more information and seek to ensure justice for the victims involved.
