Wickenheiser’s journey with the Maple Leafs began in August 2018 when she was appointed as the assistant director of player development, shortly after she concluded her illustrious playing career. Her contributions to the sport are well-documented, having led Canada to four Olympic titles and seven world championships throughout her time on the ice.
