In a disturbing case of alleged sexual assault, two men are facing a total of nine charges in connection with an incident that occurred in downtown Toronto. The allegations involve an encounter between two men and two women, which ultimately led to serious criminal accusations.
The Toronto Police Service reported that on July 2, 2023, at approximately 4 a.m., the two men met the two women in the vicinity of King Street West and Portland Street. After their initial meeting, the women were persuaded to accompany the men to a house located near Bloor Street West and St. George Street. It is at this residence where the alleged sexual assault took place.
Following a thorough investigation by law enforcement, 23-year-old Kiya Sayeed was apprehended and charged with multiple offenses. His charges include two counts of sexual assault, two counts of secretly observing or recording a person for a sexual purpose, assault with choking, and additional charges of sexual assault as a party to an offense with another person.
In addition to Sayeed, 24-year-old Farid Mir has also been charged in connection with the case. Mir faces charges that include sexual assault, secretly observing or recording a person for a sexual purpose, and sexual assault as a party to an offense alongside another individual.
