The TSB detailed that the aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff, coming to rest in an inverted position within a cornfield located 2 kilometers northwest of the airfield. The aftermath of the incident saw a fire erupt following the crash, which authorities confirmed was extinguished by first responders. Upon their arrival, they pronounced both occupants of the aircraft dead at the scene.

Details regarding the victims, including their ages, genders, and hometowns, have not been released as of this time. The investigation into the crash is being led by the TSB, who emphasized their commitment to gathering and analyzing information in the weeks to come to ascertain the cause of the tragic event.
