Tragedy struck on Highway 10 in Caledon, Ontario, as a pedestrian lost their life after being hit by a vehicle. The incident occurred on a section of the highway between King Street and Boston Mills Road shortly after 1:15 p.m.
The victim has been identified as a 30-year-old individual from Brampton. Emergency services promptly transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save them, the individual was pronounced dead upon arrival at the medical facility.
The driver involved in the incident was reported to be unharmed, but the crash has raised significant concerns regarding pedestrian safety on the busy highway. Following the incident, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) quickly responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
