On Sunday, provincial police in Orillia announced that charges have been laid following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11, which involved a school bus. The incident took place just after 1:30 p.m. on the highway between Line 2 and Line 3, located in the Township of Oro-Medonte.
According to police reports, the crash involved a school bus and a passenger vehicle, resulting in significant disruption to traffic as the highway was shut down for several hours. Authorities confirmed that Highway 11 was closed in both directions, with emergency crews working diligently to clear debris and conduct repairs on portions of the damaged guardrail.
