The Toronto police are actively searching for an unidentified male suspect linked to a violent robbery that occurred on August 27. This incident took place on Danforth Avenue, where a victim riding an e-bike was targeted.
As per police reports, the situation unfolded when the victim approached the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Pape Avenue. An unforeseen event took place when a white Acura sedan suddenly stopped directly behind the victim. The male suspect then exited from the front passenger seat of the vehicle and advanced towards the individual on the e-bike.
According to the authorities, the suspect demanded the e-bike from the victim. In an aggressive confrontation, he pushed the victim off the e-bike, subsequently assaulting the victim multiple times. After the attack, the suspect fled the scene on the stolen e-bike, heading southbound on Pape Avenue.
Witnesses and investigators have described the suspect as a white male, approximately five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine tall and possessing a thin to medium build. When last seen, he was wearing a black hoodie featuring white writing on the front, paired with black jeans and black and white shoes, along with a black balaclava that obscured his face.
