Three Arrested in Mississauga Gun Bust After Chase

Peel Regional Police (PRP) conducted an operation on Friday evening that led to the arrest of three men in Mississauga for various gun-related offenses. The incident took place around 10:15 p.m. near the intersection of Bristol Road West and Creditview Road.

According to the police, the traffic stop initiated due to a violation of the Cannabis Control Act. During the investigation, officers required the occupants of the vehicle to exit for a search. At that point, one of the suspects attempted to flee on foot, prompting a brief pursuit. The individual was subsequently apprehended, and a loaded illegal handgun along with a magazine containing ammunition was discovered during the search.

Police have released a photo of the firearm seized during the traffic stop. (PRP)
